Biography
Dr. Sina Makaremi began his academic journey at the University of Toronto, where he earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering. Shortly after graduating, he discovered his true calling in dentistry—helping people achieve optimal oral health. He returned to the University of Toronto to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), graduating with distinction and receiving the Paula Gregory Memorial Award.
Dr. Makaremi is passionate about giving back and has participated in outreach programs serving underserved communities in Jamaica, Guatemala, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic. Closer to home, he has provided dental care in regions including Simcoe, Midhurst, Toronto, Thornhill, Whitby, and Oshawa. He is now proud to offer high-quality dental care to the Aurora community.
A strong advocate of the principle that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,” Dr. Makaremi is dedicated to early diagnosis and intervention. He takes the time to thoroughly explain all treatment options to his patients, combining his deep theoretical knowledge with a gentle, patient-centered approach—qualities his patients consistently value and trust.
Fluent in both English and Farsi (Persian), Dr. Makaremi enjoys reading, playing the piano, running, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends. He is always welcoming new patients and can be reached at 905-841-0341
